Fit Guide — Sculptah

How to measure your waist correctly

An off measurement by even half an inch can mean the wrong size — and the wrong size means poor results. Take 60 seconds and do this right.

1
Find your natural waist
Stand upright and locate the narrowest part of your torso — usually just above your belly button and below your ribs.
2
Use a soft tape measure
Use a flexible measuring tape, not a rigid ruler. No tape? Use a piece of string, then measure the string against a ruler.
3
Breathe naturally
Do not suck in your stomach or hold your breath. Measure at a relaxed, natural exhale for the most accurate reading.
4
Keep it level and snug
The tape should sit flat all the way around — not tight enough to dig in, and not loose enough to gap.
5
Measure twice
Take two readings to confirm. If they differ, use the larger number — better to size up than order something too tight.
6
Note both units
Write down your measurement in both inches and centimetres so you can cross-reference the chart below without converting.

Find your size

Match your natural waist measurement to the chart. These measurements refer to your bare waist — not your hip size, dress size, or jeans size.

Fit tips before you order

Between two sizes?
Size down for a firmer sculpting effect. Size up if you're new to waist training or plan to wear it all day.
Ignore clothing sizes
Your dress size or jean size does not determine your Sculptah size. Always go by your tape measurement.
Measure in the morning
Your waist is naturally slimmer before meals. Morning measurements give the most consistent, reliable baseline.
Sizing down over time
As you progress, you may move down a size. The adjustable hooks let you track that change without buying a new trainer.

Keeping your Sculptah trainer in shape
